ILikeMulticolouredPencils :)

Football last night - we lost by 3 POINTS!!! Bloody umpire, gave Richmond 2 goals! We should've won!! Benny Cousins (ugh) is back. Lady in font of us kept butting into my convo with friends, almost went off at her. xD. Anyways, was a good game to watch :).

Went out for lunch today with Mum, Hannah, and a few of our friends from footy. So funny :). They had paper tablecloths so we were drawing on them , and I GOT A MULTICOLOURED PENCIL!!! How cool is that!!!

Enjoyed my girls weekend so far. Shopping was awesome - I got a pretty, bright coloured tank top (blue, white, yellow and orange - shows off my cleavage nicely), a grey black & white button-up skirt (very cool) and a pair of black knee-high socks which don't reach my knees. Oh yeah, and I got a cookbook and Tamora Pierce's newest book, Bloodhound. My brother and I are crazy about her writing! Can't wait to read it, but I want to finish another series by her (The Circle Opens) first.

Boy-free weekend cut short - Dad and Kallum home today instead of tomorrow coz Kal's got a sore throat. Wuss.

My '5-page assignment' is now 7 pages long and nowhere near finished.

Lauren coming over tomorrow :D. We'll work on English project for a bit, then just mess around probably.

I haven't asked Ryan to the movies yet. I've had plenty of opportunity, but I keep wussing out. xD.

Guystuffs, Japanese and Spoiled Innocence

Found out the reason why Daniel dumped me. He told me that he 'needed a break', but Trent and Mitchell told me that 4 days later, he started liking my friend Rebeka and is planning on asking her out. Coincidence much? I think he might have a thing for going out with his ex's friends. I mean, 1st he went out with Jas, then Keah, then me, now maybe Bek.

Anyway, funnystuff happened on Thursday - Japanese speaking assessment. Here's how it went:
Me: Doko e ikimasuka? (Where are you going?)
Kylie: Beddo e ikimasu. (I'm going to bed)
Me: Dare to ikimasuka? (Who are you going with?)
Kylie: Colin to isimasu. (I'm going with Colin - meaning Colin Morgan from the show Merlin)
Me: Ishou ni ikimashoka? (Can I come with you)
Kylie: Ano...hai, ikimasho. (Umm...OK)

HAHA threesome!! Our teacher thought it was funny, got top marks :). We are Japanese legends, according to most of the class. No-one else would have the guts (or stupidity) to say that to Sensei.
Japanese hosting is cancelled coz of swine flu. Hopefully I can still go there next year.

Drama was awesome!! Maddi prentended to be my girlfriend, we were freaking everyone out! Man those Year 8 girls have dirty minds!! kiara, Amy and Maddi, you guys took away my innocence! Me and Maddi are gonna be poledancers :P

More guystuffs, just to finish off. There another guy at school I like, Ryan. I'm thinking of asking him to go to the movies with me. Will let you know soon how it goes.

Got WAAYYY too much homework - a minumum of 5 pages for an assignment, SOSE worksheet, maths worksheet, study for science test, and working on English project with Lauren. Grrr....

The cat woke me up at 5am!!! Not cool! Going shopping today, coz Dad and Kallum went away for the weekend.

Love Sucks.

Daniel dumped me.

I don't know what brought it on, how long he's been thinking about it, or anything. All he said was "I've been thinking a bit and sorry but I reckon we should just be friends. I don't wanna hurt you and please don't take it the wrong way but I reckon it's for the best." He said he's really sorry, but his life's really confusing and it's the best thing for now. For now. What does that mean? For a little while, a long time or forever?

I'm crying. He says he still wants to be friends, and I want that too, but I don't know if it can happen. He's the only guy I've liked who has liked me back. He restored my faith in love, and now he's shattered it again. I don't know if being friends is possible after all of that.

I hope it is, but I really don't know.

Blah. Tests, love and...yeah.

Sorry it's been a while, just been caught up with other things.

Had national testing today (and yesterday, and tomorrow). Joy. I think I did OK on all 3 English tests, but still got both Maths ones to go.

I really am an idiot. I told Mitchell that I love him. I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help myself!! It's not my fault I love two guys!! Stupid bloody hormones...

Missed out on detention today, coz I was late getting out of Agriculture (we actually did sheepwork today, YAY!!). Had Solar Car meeting at Kunch 2, everything's really starting to go well :). Trying to arrange a planning morning/afternoon at my place, just for my team. I might try to arrange it so that Kristi sleeps over on a Friday night, Lauren & Daniel come Saturday morning. If I did that, Lauren would leave at lunchtime and then me, Kristi and Daniel could have the arvo to do what we want.

Sounds like a plan to me :).

Will you fall for me?

HAHAHAHAHA sucked in Carlton fans, Freo won!!! Just had to say that :).

Had my brother's birthday party today, so I organised games and poured drinks for 3 hours. Was actually pretty fun, had a pogo stick competition against a couple of the boys (I won, 'coz it was my pogo stick).

Suffering AFL withdrawal synptoms. Only watched 2 games this weekend!!

Been talking to Daniel. I said to him, "I got a song stuck in my head", so he asked what song. I said "Will You Fall For Me" and he said "Yes I will". A few seconds later he realised that is the name of the song and it was really funny :D.

"My head's full of thought
Thoughts of you
And I'm distracted so easy
Thinking what to do
So unsure, so unfamiliar
Am I wrong to think that something could happen?

Will you fall for me?
I need to know, the way I'd like you to
Baby, will you fall for me?
The way I've fallen for you

I'm not acting like myself
And I'm playing the role of someone else
And my hearts beating so fast
I can't stop it
And Im so unsure, so unfamiliar
Am I wrong to think that something could happen..."

Meanie Tegan xD

Had a go at one of the boys at school today. Michael has been really getting on mine and Lauren's nerves lately, and today he just went too far. He plays this 'game' where he steals peoples (normally Lauren's) schoolbag and runs away with it. He did that today but took the bag out of school grounds and threatened to throw it on the road. he had been super-annoying all morning so I was NOT impressed.

Anyway, I went to talk to him but he kept trying run away, so I grabbed his wrists and held him against the wall. I went completely off my nut at him, saying that he is pathetic and immature, that his 'game' isn't funny, and that he wouldn't like it if it was done to him so he shouldn't do it to others. Just to finish off, I told him that if I caught him taking anyone's bag without permission (whether it was a joke or not), he had better watch out, and I shoved him lightly into the wall, to let him know I was serious.

He didn't come near me or Lauren all day after that. xD.

Everybody's searching for a hero

Listening to: Greatest Love Of All by Whitney Houston

Today's been pretty ordinary. Had a maths test (again), relief teacher in Japanese, reading in English (screenplay of Rabbit-Proof Fence, definitely worth reading), detention in SOSE, worksheets in Agriculture.

Daniel came to drama with me after school :). It was fun, he's a really good actor :). He gets to play my husband LOL. Year Eights (especially Maddi and Kayla) were being really immature!! They kept giving me and Daniel a hard time, saying we should kiss and stuff. I don't think I was that immature last year...

Anyway, the two of us got a fair bit of time to ourselves. Kye was away last week so Maddi and Gemma had to work through the scenes that just have the three of them, so Daniel and I prett y much got to do what we wanted. We rehearsed our scenes, but mostly stood around talking. We were leaning against the gym, just standing there, so i just put a couple of my fingers against his palm, which is our silent way of saying that we want to hold hands. He whispered "I don't know if we should here", indicating the rest of the group. I told him that I didn't mind, but only if he didn't, which made im smile and grab my hand properly. We stood there for ages, just watching everyone else, occasionally muttering something to each other. He told me that he thinks I'm brave, seeing as it's only 2 weeks into my first relationship and I'm already fine with holding hands in public. He said normally most girls take ages to come around..

Why Does The Truth Hurt So Much?

Listening to: Dance Floor Anthem by Good Charlotte

I am so stupid! I thought I was over Mitchell, but I'm not. I just got too caught up with Daniel, having a guy who I like who likes me back for the first time ever, that everything else didn't really matter. I still love him, and I was a fool to not see that earlier. I want to hold him, to tell him I love him, but I can't. It wouldn't be fair on Daniel.

Speaking of Daniel, I'm really stuck about what to do. I still like him and all, but the chemistry is gone. there's no spark, no butterflies when we hold hands or hug. I still like it, but it's not like it used to be. I'm tired of keeping us a secret, I'm ready to scream it out to the world.

The lyrics to this song are very true: 'I don't wanna be in love'

Inspiration comes from random places...

...like the middle of a maths test.

Had a maths test today. I think I did pretty well - probably not 100%, but maybe above 90. Anyway, I finished the test about 12-15 minutes early, so I sat there daydreaming. I was staring into space with about 5 minutes left, and this image popped into my mind. Fairies (young-ish looking girls with wings and rosy cheeks) and this amazing land, with pretty much everything I ever dreamed of. One of the girls really stood out to me, and I'm going to write a story about her. Very different to what I would normally write, but I'm going to give it a shot, just to get this girl out of my head! No joke, every time I close my eyes I can see her, smiling and giggling, her hair blowing in the breeze.

One thing is really annoying me though - I know EVERYTHING about this girl, but not her name! Normally the name comes to me within an hour of dreaming up the basis of the character, but still she is nameless - about 10 hours after I created her.

Please check out my namelist, to let me know what you like:
http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9693969

If you can't be bothered checking it out, here's the main names I'm considering:
Clementine Alyssa
Tallulah Renee
Tailynn Rebekah
Tazanna Michele

Any other suggestions - please leave a comment.

Would be better if you actually DID something

Listening to: Shake It by Metro Station

Thankyou very much Hannah and Daniel, I will never think of that song the same way again. xD.

School was pretty good today, so let me bore you all with a run-down of my day :)

Held hands with Daniel on the bus. Sat a fair way away from my sister, so we didn't have to hide it from her. It will be so much easier when this is out in the open.

Japanese 1st session. Kept getting tongue-tied trying to say "Suiyoubi ni nihongo o benkyou shimashita," and "Getsuyoubi ni tomodachi to asobimashita." (Which mean "On Wednesday I studied Japanese" and "On Monday I played with a friend"). Daniel kept looking at me and smiling all lesson, which was pretty distracting. Yasashii!! (Cute!)

2nd session had Sport - hockey. Keah wasn't there, so I went partners with Tessa. She's changed HEAPS since she was last here, we used to not be able to work with out arguing and now we make an awesome team! We got split up to play the game though :(. My team was useless, so it was basically me and Michelle agaist half the class. We still managed to come a draw - I got both of our 2 goals!!

3rd session - Computer! YAY!! Gave Mr B a hard time about footy results, talked to Rebekah, and edited a few photos. Nothing flash (photo edits are my computer weak point) but still passable.

Session 4 - English :D. A 15 minute video about the Stolen Generation (which for me meant looking at Daniel who was smiling at me again, talking to Lauren and taking a page of notes), followed by another debate about it. I don't think I could ever get tired of this topic, especially if we keep debating it.

Society and Environment session 5. BORING! I like the teacher, but HATE geography! I mean, I can read a map, what more would I possibly need to know?! Would much prefer History, but don't get that until next semester. Stupid climate maps!

Last session, Science. Perfect way to end the week...NOT!! Can't stand the teacher! At least we are doing one of my fave Science-y things - Human Biology (just the basics - all theory, no practical, cell structure and stuff). Passed notes with Lauren and Jess, 'coz Kristi went home early.

I feel so tired! Must be all the nights of only getting 5 hours sleep starting to catch up with me...

Daniel's virus has taken over the world, but I STILL have to do maths homework

I have way more important stuff to do but I'm too stressed to do it, so I'll write instead.

Been talking to Daniel on MSN (again). We were having a competition at this online game, Pandemic II. I've been hooked on it for ages, and I told Daniel about it today. Basically, it's a game where you have to create a disease and make it infect the world's population and kill everyone before a vaccine is discovered. Daniel flogged me (AND got to number 6 on the world's daily high scores) - and it was only his first time EVER playing that game, where as I've been playing it since it was released! Not fair!

Anyway, I totally forgot about the huge load of homework I have this weekend, until 10 minutes ago. It is now 4:37pm and I have to do a page of symmetry stuff for maths, a page of research for Science AND 2 pages of Geography by 7:30 tomorrow morning!!! It's also my brother's birthday tomorrow, so I don't think I'll have time before school to do it.

Stupid MSN and Pandemic II.

Oh yeah, and Freo won the derby yesterday! YES! Nice try Eagles, maybe you'll win the next one...or, maybe not!

This Day Keeps Getting Better...

...NOT!

Movies got cancelled. Turns out most people weren't able to go, so it would have only been me and Jess, so she decided there wasn't really any point. We are trying to reschedule for Friday. So, instead of being at the movies with friends, I've been cleaning windows. Ugh. No movies = no socialisation. Staying home = hanging out washing and cleaning windows. So yeah, today pretty much sucks.

Only 2 good things have come out of this:

  1. Now I get two watch the whole Western Derby this afternoon :)
  2. I don't have to worry about making my hair look decent (it has now decided to go all oily and frizzy on me).

Not impressed.

Do you believe in magic?

Listening to: Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel

Been talking to one of the girls in my group at Drama Club, Maddi. She's a year younger than me, but she's pretty cool - weird, but cool. For some reason, she believes she has freckles which glitter in the dark, and that the fairies taught her to dance. I don't think that's possible, but it's not really my place to judge. I convinced Daniel to join up (or at least give it a shot) because my group needs another boy for our play to work properly, especially since Kye misses quite a few meetings. It will be much better having Daniel there because at the moment I'm the only Year Nine in the group (the others - Maddi, Gemma and Kye - are all Year Eights).

Going to the movies in 1 hour and 10 minutes - well, that's when I'm leaving to go. Before then, I have to clean my room and do something about my hair, which has decided that today is "Don't Do Anything That Tegan Wants" Day. Grr. I might straighten my hair, see if it looks any better then.

If only fairies could come and put my hair in some super-awesome fairy style that would stay perfect all day.

Ahhh PurpleCliffs!!!

Listening to: She's My Winona by Fall Out Boy

Hi!!

Nothing of particular interest happened today, unless you want to hear about my classes (Computer, English, Form, Maths, Science, SOSE). Got school photos back today. EWW. Mine's gross, as always. I don't see why my parents bother ordering them! We could get much nicer photos for a cheaper price if Dad just took them himself...Oh, and in English we had an informal debate on Kevin Rudd's apology to the Stolen Generation, which was pretty cool. Idon't normally say mucn in class but when we get started on a topic I really care about (like this one) I can get REALLY fired up.

Some of my friends are starting to bug me - actually, just one in particular. Mitchell. When I got to English (I was later than most, computing teacher kept us in), Daniel was already there so I gave him a hug, even though our teacher and practically the whole class was watching. I don't care about that, but now Mitchell keeps going ON and ON about it! On MSN earlier he said, and I quote "u nd Dan r so cute 2getha....u look cute wen u hug...its sweet as." And yes, that is EXACTLY what he said, I copied it out of the conversation history. There's also rumors going around saying that Mitchell likes me, which is kind of weird because I don't like him in that way at all anymore!

Oh, one funny (but disgusting) moment. In Science, I sit at the back bench with my friends Lauren, Jess and Kristi. In front of Lauren and I is this sorta geeky, big-ish guy named Jonothan. When he sat down his shirt came up and his shorts slipped down and we could see his jocks! GROSS! And they were PURPLE!!! I always pass notes with the girls on my bench (it's not like we are learning anything I don't already know), and we were talking about it, and Jess wrote "at least you can't see the cliffs & crack!" (Meaning butt cheeks, basically). That made all four of us burst into silent (or in my case, not so silent) fits of laughter, and most of the class noticed and were turning around to stare at us. For the rest of the day, whenever someone said "cliff", "crack," or "purple," I would start laughing. Unforfunately, in SOSE we are studying Geography, so cliffs were mentioned a LOT.

Might be going to the movies tomorrow, to see Race To Witch Mountain. I've already seen it, but it's really good so I don't mind going again. Jess (the other Jess, not the one I sit with in Science) is organising it. She's invited Daniel, Ryan, Trent, Jas, Kristi, Vicki, Beth and a couple of others, so it should be a really good group. I really hope Daniel can come, so we can hold hands again like last time. We don't get to do that much at school, because a couple of his friends keep interrupting! Grr...

If he does go, I want to show him that I really like him. I've told him, but never done anything to show it, apart from a couple of hugs. He's the one who kisses me and holds my hand - I never take the lead for anything. He's been talking to Lauren, and she told me that he says he really likes me but isn't sure if I feel the same, but I do!! How can I show him how much I care? Depends on how things go (and who else shows up), I might kiss him on the cheek or something. He always does that to me, so it should be safe to do it back to him, right?

Great. Just saw the football score. Collingwood (my least favourite team in the AFL) are beating North Melbourne, 55 to 32. I'm not a North Melbourne fan, but anyone is better than Collingwood as far as I'm concerned!!

Gonna go and watch the game, have to make up for the ones I might miss tomorrow!
